Notes:

1.  We left HK at 7:00 in the evening (America time) on July 3.  We got to Bham at 5:00 in the evening (America time) on July 4.  No sleep.  Lots of travel.

2.  Mary became a US citizen in Detroit on July 4!

3.  Mary did well on all flights. Only minor meltdowns. 

4..  Came home to family and friends.... stocked fridge and pantry, mowed grass, great food, clean house and garage.... very happy.

5.  First family tradition enjoyed:  watch A Capitol Fourth on PBS.  And who was performing RIGHT when we turned it on?  BARRY MANILOW.  Mary is already a Fanilow.

6.  So happy to be home I almost cannot stand it.
